Around the age of thirteen, many childrenthinking themselves too old for trick-or-treatingturn to mischievous pranks to occupy their Halloween nights.
In the past, the most popular tricks were putting toilet paper all over yards ("T.P.ing") or taking little kids' candy. Nowadays these young hoodlums will often opt to leave the candy and take the kids. Also, due to the increasingly easy access these kids have to guns, mass-shootings are quickly becoming another popular prank for Halloween night.
As you may imagine, the growing severity of these offenses worries both parents and police.
